Our position
CHOBEE respects the intellectual property of others. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, and we remove or disable access to material we determine to be infringing.
How to file a notice
Email legal@chobee.site with: a description of the copyrighted work, the exact URL of the material on CHOBEE, your contact details, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized agent, and your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, email legal@chobee.site with the removed material and its former location, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was an error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly post infringing material are suspended and, where appropriate, permanently terminated. Moderation outcomes are recorded against your account's trust score.
Product imagery and brand marks
Product photography and brand logos shown in rankings are used for identification and editorial commentary. Rights holders who would prefer their imagery removed can email legal@chobee.site and we will replace it.
